South East Jaguars (South Gate, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA), 14-4 in a league test.

With the win, South East upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season. The Jaguars host Bell (Bell, CA) to battle the Eagles in a Eastern test on Thursday, May 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-11. Bell lost 5-4 in their recent league game against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA)

The Spartans (0-12) will now prepare for their game against South Gate (South Gate, CA). The Rams go into the Eastern game with a 12-9 record. In their last game, South Gate ran past Maywood CES (Maywood, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
