In Friday's league challenge, the Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) baseball squad nipped the visiting Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA), by a margin of 2-1.
With the win, Mount Carmel betters its record to 12-3 on the season. The RED TORNADOES travel to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to encounter the Defenders in a Heartland III challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Defenders come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
With the defeat, Loyalsock Township falls to 5-10 on the season. The Lancers host Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.
