In Friday's league game, the host Mountain View Cougars baseball team scored a tight 14-13 victory over the Ridgeview Ravens.
The Cougars (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears go into the 5A Intermountain game with a 10-13 record. In their last game, Bend was edged by Summit (Bend, OR), 10-5, in a league game.
The Ravens (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Redmond (Redmond, OR). The Panthers go into the 5A Intermountain game with a 7-15 record. In their last game, Redmond tipped Caldera (Bend, OR), 8-6, in a league game.
