The Nelson County Governors crushed the visiting Parry McCluer Fighting Blues baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Governors now possess a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood bout on Wednesday, May 10.

Next, the Fighting Blues face the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, May 9. Parry McCluer will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 6-8 record after their 5-4 league win over Highland (Monterey, VA).
