The Seaside Spartans baseball squad scored 11 runs and held the visiting Pajaro Valley Grizzlies to 1 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 9. Seaside will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 14-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA).

The Grizzlies now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzales for a PCAL - Cypress contest on Monday, May 8. Pajaro Valley will play a Spartans squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Greenfield (Greenfield, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-6.
