The West Bloomfield Lakers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Stevenson Spartans to 1 in the Lakers non-league victory on Friday.
The Lakers (13-1) will now prepare for their match against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, South Lyon was overwhelmed by Howell (Howell, MI), 8-3, in a non-league match.
The Spartans (8-14) will now prepare for their match against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Milford tipped Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI), 4-3, in a league match.
