The Westminster Owls baseball team (Westminster, MD), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Friday's league outing with the host Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD)
The Falcons now hold a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond for a non-league outing on Monday, May 8. Winters Mill will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 8-11.
Next, the Owls confront the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County Athletic outing, on Saturday, May 6. Westminster will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 12-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD).
