The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) and the host Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), saw Durfee's volleyball squad nip Braintree by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Durfee upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, May 8. The Wamps now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Weymouth for a Bay State bout on Tuesday, May 9. Braintree will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Brookline (Brookline, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
