The Chelmsford Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Methuen Rangers to 2 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence for a Merrimack Valley game on Monday, May 8. Chelmsford will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-9.

The Rangers (7-5) will now prepare for their game against North Andover (North Andover, MA). The Scarlet Knights enter the Merrimack Valley game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, North Andover was nudged by Haverhill (Haverhill, MA), 3-2, in a league game.
