Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME), 12-9 in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Messalonskee for a Class B battle on Tuesday, May 9. Mt. Blue will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a Class C battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Erskine Academy will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Black Bears come into the battle with a 1-3 record after their 14-5 league win over Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME).
