In Friday's non-league test, the host Taunton Tigers lacrosse squad scored a good 12-2 victory over the New Bedford Whalers.
The Tigers now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a Hockomock test on Monday, May 8. Taunton will face a Hawks squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Hudson (Hudson, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-9.
In their next game, the Whalers face the Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 6. New Bedford will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans come into the test with a 8-1 record after their 5-4 league win over Matignon (Cambridge, MA).
