In Friday's non-league battle, the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC), by a count of 15-2.
With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 9. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 9-4. Croatan won 16-9 in their recent non-league outing against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
With the defeat, Seaforth drops to 9-9 on the season.
