Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Ponaganset drops to Smithfield

In Friday's league test, the host Smithfield Sentinels lacrosse squad scored a good 15-1 victory over the Ponaganset Chieftains.
The Sentinels now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Narragansett for a non-league test on Monday, May 8. Smithfield will face a Mariners squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Mariners record now stands at 5-5.
In their next game, the Chieftains face the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Wednesday, May 10. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record.
