Henrico Warriors (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), 34-24 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. Henrico will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 12-10 league win over John Marshall (Richmond, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Armstrong falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-13.
