In Friday's league contest, the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) softball team overwhelmed the host Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), by a margin of 19-9.
With the triumph, Atholton moves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Raiders host Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD) to play the Vikings in a Howard County contest on Monday, May 8. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 1-9. Mt. Hebron lost 8-1 in their recent league contest against Glenelg (Glenelg, MD)
