Coshocton Redskins (Coshocton, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bishop Rosecrans Bishops (Zanesville, OH), 19-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Redskins now sport a 3-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edison for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8.
With the loss, Bishop Rosecrans falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Miller (Corning, OH) to face the Falcons in a Mid-State - Cardinal challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Miller won 6-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Clay (Portsmouth, OH)
