In Friday's league outing, the host Houlton Shiretowners softball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the Calais Blue Devils.
Coming up next, the Shiretowners encounter the Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Houlton will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 1-6 record after their 44-0 league loss to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).
