Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) and the host Carrollton Warriors (Carrollton, OH), witnessed West Branch's softball squad tip Carrollton by a count of 10-7.

The Warriors now sport a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Marlington for a Eastern Buckeye match on Friday, May 12.

With the loss, Carrollton falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, May 6.
