The Central Knights softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Classical Purples to 4 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Central improves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Rogers (Newport, RI) to clash with the Vikings in a Division 3 game on Tuesday, May 9. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-8.

In their next game, the Purples clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 3 game, on Monday, May 8. Classical will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a 4-7 record after their 11-3 league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
