Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Live Oak for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. Christopher will battle a Acorns squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Oak Grove falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a Santa Teresa East challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 15-3. Ann Sobrato won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA)
