The Saegertown Panthers softball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Cochranton Cardinals to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Saegertown moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Iroquois (Erie, PA) to clash with the Braves in a District 10 Region 2 game on Tuesday, May 9. The Braves come into the game with a record of 5-5. Iroquois won 10-3 in their recent league game against Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA)
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 8. Cochranton will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over McDowell (Erie, PA).
