Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) and the host Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), witnessed Crystal Lake South's softball squad prevail over Woodstock by a count of 13-1.

The Gators now sport a 10-12 record. They play next when they host McHenry for a Fox Valley match on Monday, May 8. Crystal Lake South will face a Warriors squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Woodstock moves to 1-16 on the season. The Blue streaks travel to Marengo (Marengo, IL) to face the Indians in a Kishwaukee River match on Monday, May 8. The Indians go into the match with a record of 22-3. Marengo won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
