The Hawkins Hawks routed the host McLeod Longhorns softball squad by a final score of 12-6 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Hawks (22-2) will now prepare for their battle against Frankston (Frankston, TX). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 21-13 record. In their last battle, Frankston held off Rivercrest (Bogata, TX), 9-5, in a non-league battle.

The Longhorns now possess a 17-5 record.
