In Friday's league outing, the visiting Lancaster Golden Gales softball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Newark Wildcats.

Coming up next, the Golden Gales battle the Olentangy Berlin Bears (Delaware, OH) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 6. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 13-8 record after their 5-0 league win over Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH).
