In Friday's non-league contest, the Mystic Valley Regional Eagles (Malden, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Salem Academy Charter Navigator (Salem, MA), by a margin of 21-4.
With the triumph, Mystic Valley Regional moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA) to play the Reggies in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 9. The Reggies come into the contest with a record of 8-3.
