North Polars (North St. Paul, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN), 7-5 in a league challenge.
The Polars now sport a 2-0 record.
With the loss, South St. Paul falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Packers host Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN) to face the Zephyrs in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 8. The Zephyrs enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
