Maine High School Softball - Old Town bounces Orono

The Old Town Coyotes routed the host Orono Riots softball squad by a final score of 7-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Coyotes (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME). The Trojans go into the Class B North battle with a 2-5 record.
The Riots now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Bucksport for a Class C North battle on Monday, May 8. Orono will meet a Golden Bucks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 7-0.
