California High School Softball - Santa Ynez thwarted by Santa Maria

The Santa Ynez Pirates softball team (Santa Ynez, CA), was routed 15-6 in Friday's league test with the visiting Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA)

Coming up next, the Saints clash with the Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) in a CCAA - Ocean test, on Wednesday, May 10. Santa Maria will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Conquistadores come into the test with a 12-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA).

The Pirates (1-13) will now prepare for their test against San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Tigers come into the CCAA - Ocean test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, San Luis Obispo was routed by Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA), 16-2, in a league test.
