The Scio Loggers (Scio, OR) softball routed the visiting Taft Tigers (Lincoln City, OR), 15-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Loggers (17-1) will now prepare for their bout against Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record.

The Tigers now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sheridan for a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 bout on Wednesday, May 10. Taft will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Banks (Banks, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 3-8.
