The Beaver River Beavers baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Watertown Cyclones to 1 in the Beavers non-league win on Monday.
The Beavers now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lowville for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Beaver River will clash with a Red Raiders team coming off a 8-3 league win over Carthage (Carthage, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
With the defeat, Watertown drops to 4-5 on the year. The Cyclones travel to South Jefferson (Adams, NY) to clash with the Spartans in a Section 3 Frontier B test on Wednesday, May 7. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-5. South Jefferson won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Indian River (Philadelphia, NY)
