The Paul VI Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Camden Catholic Fighting Irish to 1 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now hold a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Audubon for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. Paul VI will play a Green Wave team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 10-3.

With the defeat, Camden Catholic drops to 5-12 on the year. The Fighting irish host Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Lions go into the test with a record of 10-6. Cherry Hill West won 10-6 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ)
