The Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) baseball got by the host Edsel Ford Thunderbirds (Dearborn, MI), 2-1 in Monday's league challenge.

The Marauders now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodhaven for a Downriver challenge on Wednesday, May 7. Carlson will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 17-7.

With the defeat, Edsel Ford drops to 13-8 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Taylor (Taylor, MI) to clash with the Griffins in a Downriver challenge on Thursday, May 8. The Griffins go into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Taylor won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI)
