The Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND) baseball trounced the host Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers (Fargo, ND), 23-3 in Monday's league challenge.
The Squirrels now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hankinson/Campbell-Tintah/Fairmount for a Class B - Region I test on Tuesday, May 6. Central Cass will play a Rebels team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Rebels record now stands at 1-9.
With the defeat, Oak Grove Lutheran drops to 6-6 on the year. The Grovers host Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
