Minnesota High School Baseball - DeLaSalle held off by Richfield

Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), 2-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Richfield moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Spartans host Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to confront the Eagles in a Tri-Metro match on Wednesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 8-6. Kennedy won 10-0 in their recent league match against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN)

The Islanders now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha for a Tri-Metro match on Wednesday, May 7. DeLaSalle will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 7-5.
