Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 13-1 in a league match.
With the triumph, Washington Academy advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Raiders host Sumner (East Sullivan, ME) to battle the Tigers in a Class C North match on Wednesday, May 7. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-2. Sumner lost 6-0 in their recent league match against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
The Eagles now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a Class C North match on Wednesday, May 7.
