Maine High School Baseball - Hermon holds off Mount Desert Island

The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) and the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), saw Hermon's baseball team beat Mount Desert Island by a margin of 7-3.

The Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes enter the Class B North battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Old Town was overwhelmed by Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 7. Mount Desert Island will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 11-6 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME).
