In Monday's league bout, the Thompson Tommies (Thompson, ND) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND), by a tally of 19-9.
Next up, the Tommies encounter the Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg Patriots (Mayville, ND) in a Class B - Region II bout, on Tuesday, May 6. Thompson will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record.
The H-CV Burros (7-7) will now prepare for their bout against Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND). The Thunder enter the Class B - Region II bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Hatton/Northwood was overwhelmed by Thompson (Thompson, ND), 19-0, in a league bout.
