Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) fans left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), 11-4 in a league contest.
With the triumph, Summers County moves its record to 11-17 on the season. The Bobcats travel to James Monroe (Lindside, WV) to confront the Mavericks in a contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Mavericks come into the contest with a record of 15-10. James Monroe won 12-1 in their recent non-league contest against Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV)
The Raiders now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midland Trail for a Coalfield AA contest on Tuesday, May 6. Liberty will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 2-13.
