The William Penn Colonials baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Newark Charter School Patriots to 0 in the Colonials non-league win on Monday.
The Colonials now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to York Suburban for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. William Penn will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Susquehanna Township (Harrisburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-14.
With the defeat, Newark Charter School drops to 8-5 on the year. The Patriots host Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to clash with the Auks in a Diamond State test on Tuesday, May 6. The Auks go into the test with a record of 7-7. Archmere Academy lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE)
