The Schenck Wolverines baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Penobscot Valley Howlers to 1 in the Wolverines league win on Monday.

The Wolverines now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bangor Christian for a Class D North test on Wednesday, May 7. Schenck will play a Patriots team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Penobscot Valley drops to 0-4 on the year. The Howlers travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to play the Minutemen in a Class D North test on Wednesday, May 7. The Minutemen go into the test with a record of 4-1. Stearns won 15-4 in their recent non-league test against Greenville (Greenville, ME)
