The Perry-Lecompton Kaws baseball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Riley County Falcons to 8 in the Kaws league win on Monday.

The Kaws now hold a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Royal Valley for a Big Seven test on Thursday, May 8. Perry-Lecompton will play a Panthers team coming off a 20-2 league loss to Sabetha (Sabetha, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 0-18.

With the defeat, Riley County drops to 8-16 on the year. The Falcons host Holton (Holton, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, May 8. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 6-15. Holton lost 19-2 in their recent league test against Jefferson West (Meriden, KS)
