In Monday's non-league game, the host Twin Valley Panthers baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Phelps Hornets.
The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Mount View (Welch, WV). The Golden Knights enter the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Mount View defeated Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV), 18-8, in a non-league game.
Next, the Hornets face the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 6. Phelps will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 10-14 record after their 10-3 non-league win over WestSide (Clear Fork, WV).
