The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) and the visiting St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), saw Scappoose's baseball team gain a win over St. Helens by a tally of 4-1.

The Indians (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers enter the 4A Cowapa battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Tillamook held off Astoria (Astoria, OR), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Pendleton Buckaroos (Pendleton, OR) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 10. St. Helens will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Buckaroos enter the battle with a 16-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Baker/Powder Valley (Baker City, OR).
