Fans at Monday's league contest between the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), observed Live Oak's volleyball team top Mt. Pleasant by a count of 3-0.

The Acorns (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs enter the BVAL - West Valley contest with a 11-13 record. In their last contest, Gilroy notched a victory over San Jose (San Jose, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley contest, on Wednesday, May 7. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Comets enter the contest with a 0-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA).
