The Lynnwood Royals softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Shorecrest Scots to 15 in the Royals non-league win on Monday.

The Royals now sport a 2-9 record.

With the loss, Shorecrest moves to 2-5 on the season. The Scots host Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a record of 11-2. Glacier Peak won 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against Roosevelt (Seattle, WA)
