In Monday's league test, the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a count of 16-7.

Next up, the Screaming Eagle battle the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Wednesday, May 7. Ashley will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Scorpions enter the test with a 10-12 record after their 17-1 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Cougars (1-15) will now prepare for their test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Mideastern test with a 2-15 record. In their last test, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 21-7, in a league test.
