New York High School Softball - Amherst Central defeated by Starpoint

The Amherst Central Tigers softball squad (Amherst, NY), was routed 13-0 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY)

With the triumph, Starpoint improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Spartans host West Seneca East (West Seneca, NY) to face the Trojans in a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Tuesday, May 6. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 0-3. West Seneca East lost 19-2 in their recent league contest against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY)

The Tigers now hold a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sweet Home for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Tuesday, May 6. Amherst Central will face a Panthers squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
