Illinois High School Softball - Andrew sneaks past Lincoln-Way West

In Monday's league match, the host Andrew Thunderbolts softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Lincoln-Way West Warriors.

The Thunderbolts (14-8) will now prepare for their match against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings come into the SouthWest Suburban match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Homewood-Flossmoor nipped Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 8-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Warriors confront the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban match, on Wednesday, May 7. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 19-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
