The Caruthersville Tigers softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Delta Chargers to 3 in the Tigers non-league win on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Pemiscot for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 6. Caruthersville will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Senath-Hornersville (Senath, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Delta moves to 3-4 on the season. The Chargers host Gideon (Gideon, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Class 1 District 1 battle on Friday, May 9. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-7. Gideon lost 13-12 in their recent non-league battle against Scott County Central (Sikeston, MO)
