The Lansing Bobcats overwhelmed the host Charles O. Dickerson Blue Raiders softball squad by a count of 24-11 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats meet the Whitney Point Eagles (Whitney Point, NY) in a Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large challenge, on Monday, May 12. Lansing will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record.
The Blue Raiders (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Marathon (Marathon, NY). The Olympians go into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Marathon was routed by Union Springs (Union Springs, NY), 21-3, in a league challenge.
